Same Day Teeth
This is the pinnacle of dental implant treatments. We are able to transform people from having no teeth, or a set of failing teeth, to a fixed set of replacement teeth on implants in one day. This treatment truly can change your life, could anything offer greater value for money?
Too many people who have conventional dentures don’t enjoy wearing them because of their tendency to move place. At Pure Dental Health, we offer a solution to this that allows you to live your life with confidence. In recent years acrylic bridges supported by implants are growing in popularity as people recognise this method as a long-term, durable solution to tooth loss.
During the procedure, for which you will be sedated, we will place 4-6 implants; your bridge will then be attached to these implants. For most patients we are able to complete this procedure in just one day under local anesthesia. The pain you will feel is usually minor and temporary although we will be able to prescribe pain relief if you require it. Although you will leave Pure with a fixed set of teeth on the day of treatment, we will ask you to return to the practice 4-6 months later so that we can fit your long-term bridge once your mouth has fully healed.
Many practices offer dental implants, but not all have the experience and expertise that Pure can offer. We ask you to think of the age old saying: ‘if it sounds too cheap to be true, it probably is’. At Pure we recognise that every patient has different needs and requirements, therefore every treatment should be bespoke to the individual.
We know that the planning stages of this treatment are just at important as the day of the procedure itself. Our team will take the time to explain every aspect of your treatment and answer any questions you may have. You will have a full oral assessment which covers both aesthetic and medical aspects, 3D imaging, model planning and detailed design before any treatment is started. At Pure, our patients’ care is our priority.
No-one should have to live life without a smile, so we’re offering you a free implant adviser consultation with one of our highly-qualified team where you can find out exactly how we can help you and ask any questions you may have on specific treatments. You’ll also be able to see examples of our previous work to reassure you of the high-quality finish that will be achieved. We understand that a consultation can be a big step for nervous patients, so we offer free presentations on the advantages of dental implants where you can ask questions and gain further information in the comfort of a group environment. Everyone that attends one of our informal presentation evenings will receive a free implant consultation with Principal Dentist Mark Durnall.
Our team have over 35 years of combined experience in Implantology and have fitted over 6500 implants to date so you can rest assured that you’re in good hands with Cornwall’s leading advanced dentistry clinic.

Implants are small titanium posts, which replace the root of the natural tooth and are used to anchor replacement teeth like crowns, bridges or even full mouth restorations and dentures.
For many people their permanence, durability, and natural appearance and feel mean greatly increased self-esteem and confidence. Also improved speech, comfort and easier eating. Dental implants don’t only enhance the appearance of your smile. In the case of those with many teeth missing, the whole face is lifted due to improved muscle tone and support of the lips and cheeks.
Not everyone is suitable, but the majority of people are. They are not just for Hollywood stars and often more affordable than most people think.
Planning your implant treatment is the most crucial stage, as we need to ensure that the smile we are going to create, is the smile that you are looking for. Planning stages take around three to five weeks, and includes a ‘case presentation’ where we discuss every aspect of your treatment at length before we begin. You are welcome to bring a family member or friend along should you wish. Implant treatment can vary from four to six months up to about two years for complex cases – but remember, the benefits of dental implants will last for decades.
This is obviously a major concern for patients, particularly where the front teeth are involved. Proper planning allows us to provide temporary replacement of missing or extracted teeth, either by provisional bridges that are fixed in place or by a removable denture.
Dental implants require the same care as normal teeth. If good oral hygiene is maintained, with regular brushing, flossing and dental visits then implants can last a lifetime.
