Hannah moved to Cornwall from the North East of England in 2013 to marry her husband who she met on board a cruise ship when she was a professional dancer in musical theatre in 2008. Her love for dentistry started on stage when she realised how important a healthy and beautiful smile is in theatre, on television and in day-to-day life. She moved from the theatre into dental school and qualified as a dental therapist in 2013 with Honors.
During her final year at University, Hannah was chosen to present her dissertation findings to the British Association of Dental Therapists as part of a CPD course for UK dental therapists. Since qualifying she has been actively involved in various dental settings across Devon and Cornwall including private, NHS and community dental care. Her love for periodontal treatment has grown exponentially and she trained in periodontal laser technology with the worldwide renowned Dr Robert Convissar in 2015.
To continue her development of clinical skills and in-depth knowledge of periodontal health, Hannah has received hands-on training from leading periodontists such as Dr Phil Ower, Dr Iain Chapple and most recently Dr Peter Galgut. Hannah has been recognised to have excellent communication skills and can use basic conversational sign language.
Presently, Hannah is extremely excited to be in the midst of developing an innovative educational theatre company to deliver key oral health messages to primary and secondary schools across Devon and Cornwall using performing arts.
Hannah has two adorable young girls and enjoys the beautiful balance of work and home life in stunning Cornwall.

Nicola left school at fifteen before joining a dental practice in Warrington where she first started training to be a dental nurse. In December 1989 she joined the army, going into Queen Alexandra Royal Army Nursing Corps, which led her to the oral surgery department of the military hospital in Aldershot.
After an amazing few years, she enrolled on the dental hygiene course and qualified in 1992. Deciding that it was time for a change, Nicola left the army in 1997 and moved to London to work in the Royal London Hospital and Private Practice.
After a few years in London, Nicola decided the city-lifestyle wasn’t for her and moved to Wiltshire where she enjoyed working in a large practice for thirteen years.
Pure Dental Health welcomed Nicola to the team in 2013 when she decided Cornwall would be a great place to call home.
Nicola has a real passion for her work and puts a great deal of focus on helping patients to improve their oral health routine at home.
When she’s not at the clinic, Nicola loves walking her dog and exploring Cornwall with her family before retreating home to simply relax.
