Layla qualified as a dental nurse in January 2018, gaining a national diploma accredited by the NEBDN. As someone who prides herself on her work, she enjoyed how well the course set her up to demonstrate the highest standards of dental nursing.

Layla started at Pure in November 2020 and is really enjoying working with likeminded and dedicated professionals. Layla assists with cosmetic and restorative dentistry, endodontics and taking clinical photographs; but is particularly keen to develop her knowledge of implants and radiography. She also wants to complete a qualification in oral health education and sedation.

Although Layla has only been with Pure a short while, she finds every aspect of her job interesting; especially state of the art treatments such as PRF, bone grafting and surgical extractions. Layla loves playing a part in helping patients gain their confidence back, whether it be from cosmetic fillings to teeth whitening, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing patients be proud of their smiles.

As a keen learner, Layla often exceeds her yearly target for CPD. This year she put special focus on safeguarding, infection control and oral cancer.

When not at work Layla can often be found at home with her partner, her two adorable ragdoll kittens and Ralph and Monty - the house rabbits that rule the roost. She enjoys a relaxing holiday in the sun, cooking Italian food and spending time with family.
