Michelle's experience
While in Switzerland, she trained with the local Straumann ITI Institute in dental implantology and later with Astra Tech in Sweden. Since returning to the UK, she has embarked in postgraduate training programmes in the fields of periodontics, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, advanced surgical anatomy and hard and soft tissue augmentation. With hundreds of hours over her continued professional training requirements, she continues with enthusiasm and has recently completed her clinical masters training with the world renowned Salama Foundation in advanced gum and bone grafting techniques.
Michelle’s reward comes from being able to deliver to her patients bespoke options for their dental needs from an array of clinically proven and evidence based treatments.
As patients testify, Michelle’s approach to dental care is very comprehensive and reflects whole patient care. Her relaxed and friendly manner has helped nervous patients to feel at ease and even enjoy a pain free journey to a beautiful and healthy smile.
Michelle is also very knowledgeable and experienced in caring for patients wishing for holistic dental options. Working alongside complementary health professionals and with the B.A.O.M.S ,her treatment plans complement patients on a detox programme and are metal free.
Michelle has had the privilege of working with the Amscot charity and last year she embarked on the first of many trips to Zimbabwe. There, she is developing the dental services sector for deprived populations throughout the country by establishing educational and clinical programmes for adults and children.
When not thinking dentistry, Michelle can be found hill running, skiing, on a Pilates or gym workout or doing calligraphy.
