Fixed Metal Braces - An Effective Method For Teeth Straightening

Fixed metal braces use metal brackets and wires to apply gentle pressure. Over time, this will straighten the teeth.

Simpler issues like crooked teeth may take only a few months. On the other hand, more complex orthodontic problems may mean that you need to wear fixed braces for up to 2 or 3 years.

Metal braces need to be adjusted every 4 to 12 weeks.

It will take about 6 to 8 months for a tooth gap to close by wearing braces. This depends on the severity of the gap, though.

Brush your teeth with braces by positioning the toothbrush near the gums at a 45-degree angle. From this position, brush your teeth from top to bottom, front to back, in gentle circular motions.
