Alan's experience
He later moved to Bath, where he worked in a busy dental practice providing day-to-day general dental care. During this time, he attended advanced courses in digital photography and aesthetic composite bonding, enabling him to deliver high-quality cosmetic dentistry with precision and attention to detail.
In 2018, driven by his passion for surgery, Alan completed a three-year Master’s degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol. This advanced training equipped him with the skills to perform complex dental procedures using the latest techniques and technologies.
Also in 2018, Alan deepened his knowledge in the field of occlusion (the way teeth bite and function) by studying with the European Dawson Academy under the guidance of Ian Buckle. He has a particular interest in the treatment of tooth wear and routinely delivers complex rehabilitative treatments, both for his own patients and those referred by other dentists.
Alan joined Pure Dental in 2018 and has since developed a strong interest in education and mentoring. He now teaches advanced techniques in fillings, crowns, and veneers to dentists across the UK and internationally through online platforms.
