Nicola's experience

Nicola left school at fifteen before joining a dental practice in Warrington where she first started training to be a dental nurse. In December 1989 she joined the army, going into Queen Alexandra Royal Army Nursing Corps, which led her to the oral surgery department of the military hospital in Aldershot.

After an amazing few years, she enrolled on the dental hygiene course and qualified in 1992. Deciding that it was time for a change, Nicola left the army in 1997 and moved to London to work in the Royal London Hospital and Private Practice.

After a few years in London, Nicola decided the city-lifestyle wasn’t for her and moved to Wiltshire where she enjoyed working in a large practice for thirteen years.

Pure Dental Health welcomed Nicola to the team in 2013 when she decided Cornwall would be a great place to call home.

Nicola has a real passion for her work and puts a great deal of focus on helping patients to improve their oral health routine at home.

When she’s not at the clinic, Nicola loves walking her dog and exploring Cornwall with her family before retreating home to simply relax.
