We believe everyone deserves to smile with confidence, and through our Dream Smile competition, we can make that dream a reality for three lucky winners. We ran the Dream Smile competition in 2019 and 2020 with tremendous success, and we’re thrilled to announce it’s back for 2025.

How The Dream Smile Competition Works

Taking part in the Dream Smile Makeover Competition is simple.

All you need to do is:

Fill in our short nomination form with your name and email address, along with the details of the person you’re nominating
Tell us a little about why they deserve this opportunity
Upload a few photos of their teeth to help our team understand their needs

And that’s it!

Every nomination is considered, and we can’t wait to meet this year’s finalists whose stories truly inspire us. Our team will shortlist six finalists, and then the public will have the exciting job of voting for the ultimate Dream Smile winners!

Shortlisted nominees will be invited for a friendly consultation at our practice in Truro, where we’ll discuss their dental needs and explore the possibilities together. It’s a straightforward, supportive process from start to finish, and we’re here to make it as comfortable and positive as possible.

Competition terms & conditions

Pure Dental Health, Truro, is offering three lucky winners the opportunity to achieve the smile they’ve always dreamed of, completely transformed by our award-winning dental team.

Entries Open: 1st November 2025
Entries Close: 23rd November 2025
Finalist Voting: The Pure Dental Health team will select six finalists, which will then be put to a public vote to determine the winners.
Winners Announced: 22nd December 2025
Treatment Begins: January 2026

1. Nomination

Each participant must be nominated by a friend or family member (self-nominations will not be accepted).
The nomination must include a short-written explanation (maximum 200 words) outlining why the nominee deserves to win.
Clear smile photographs and close-up images of the nominee’s teeth must be included with the entry.

2. Location

Nominees must be within a 20-mile radius of Truro, Cornwall.

3. Lifestyle

Nominees must not smoke and must be committed to maintaining good oral hygiene and regular dental care.

4. Availability

Winners must be flexible and available to attend all appointments as scheduled by Pure Dental Health.
If sedation is required during treatment, winners must arrange for a suitable adult to accompany them to and from the practice.

5. Photography & Marketing Consent

By entering, nominees agree that if selected as a finalist or winner, they will participate in photography, videography, and interviews before, during, and after treatment.
All media content may be used by Pure Dental Health for marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, website content, printed materials, and press coverage.

6. Treatment Scope

The treatment plan will be determined solely by the clinical team at Pure Dental Health, based on each winner’s suitability and clinical needs.
Treatments may include, but are not limited to: teeth whitening, orthodontics, composite bonding, veneers, or dental implants.
Treatment value and inclusions are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative services.

7. Eligibility

Nominees must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
Employees of Pure Dental Health, their families, and anyone directly connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

8. Selection Process

The Pure Dental Health team will shortlist six finalists from all eligible entries.
The six finalists will be announced publicly and subject to a public vote to determine the three winners.
The decision of Pure Dental Health and the public vote outcome will be final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process or results.

Treatment Terms

All treatments will be carried out at Pure Dental Health, Truro.
Winners must attend all required appointments and comply with the clinic’s treatment and aftercare guidelines.
Failure to attend scheduled appointments or follow aftercare instructions may result in forfeiture of the prize.

10. Treatment Suitability Disclaimer

All winners will undergo a full dental consultation and assessment before treatment begins to ensure suitability for proposed procedures.
If a winner is deemed clinically unsuitable for any specific treatment, the dental team will propose an alternative treatment plan where possible.
Pure Dental Health reserves the right to withdraw or modify treatment if it is not in the patient’s best clinical interest. The clinical team’s decision regarding treatment suitability is final.
This competition does not guarantee any specific treatment outcome or aesthetic result, as individual results may vary.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

By entering this competition, nominators and nominees’ consent to the collection, processing, and storage of their personal data (including images) by Pure Dental Health for the purposes of administering the competition and promoting its results.
All personal data will be handled securely and in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where required for competition administration or promotional activity related to the competition.
Participants have the right to access, amend, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting Pure Dental Health directly.

12. General Conditions

By submitting a nomination, both the nominator and nominee agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Pure Dental Health reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, or amend the competition or these terms, if necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
The promoter’s decision is final in all matters relating to the competition.
Personal data and competition entries will be retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above.
