Bex started her dental nurse training in 2014 because she desired to progress in a career related to Human Biology.
Upon enrolling in an accredited course with Cotswold Dental Training, Bex was intrigued by the opportunity to expand her understanding of all aspects of dentistry. In 2017, she achieved qualification and was awarded an NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing.
Bex joined the Pure Dental Health team in October 2020 after relocating to Cornwall to be closer to the coast and the sea.
Bex's passion for dental nursing is evident in her daily interactions with patients. She enjoys building a strong rapport with them and is regularly seen flying around the practice, undertaking many tasks, and assisting where required. Bex has also gained invaluable experience with implant/surgical procedures and finds great joy in training, especially when she sees nurses reach their full potential!
Bex has recently achieved qualifications in radiography and sedimentation but is eager to enhance her skill set further and offer more at Pure Dental Health. She also continues to remain updated in her role by undertaking relevant CPD courses.
Outside of dentistry, Bex has a rich array of interests and hobbies. She trained in acting and musical theatre, and her love for the arts is evident in her frequent theatre visits to watch a variety of shows and plays. Another significant aspect of Bex’s life is her love for animals. Now settled in Cornwall with her fiancé, she is excited about exploring the region further.
